From North Jutland lime quarries to documented quality
DANKALK extracts and processes lime at Aggersund and Mjels. At Aggersund, the lime quarry, drying, storage and dispatch are located close together, while production in Mjels includes agricultural lime, magnesium lime, garden lime and environmental lime, among other things.
The close connection between raw material and production gives control over properties such as purity, reactivity and particle size. Our quality work is documented through certifications within quality, environment, energy and feed safety.
Aggersund
Approximately 300 hectares of lime areas at the Limfjord with production, drying, storage and dispatch gathered at the same location.
Mjels
Production of lime products for agriculture and green areas at the limeworks south of Aalborg.
Certified production
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and GMP+ B1. Selected products are also covered by applicable European product standards.

Where does DANKALK deliver?
We supply lime to customers in Denmark and the rest of Europe. Exports account for around 15% of total revenue, and we primarily supply customers in Germany, Poland, Sweden and Latvia.
Can ordered goods be collected at the limeworks?
Yes. In Aggersund, dry goods from silos are available 24/7 for ordered items, agricultural lime is available around the clock from Monday 06.00 to Friday 14.30, and collection from the warehouse is possible Monday – Friday 06.00 – 15.00 (loader: 40 28 37 17). Mjels Limeworks is open Monday – Thursday 07.00 – 16.00 and Friday 07.00 – 13.00 (contact: Thomas Jensen, 20 45 07 25). By prior arrangement, we also offer delivery outside normal opening hours.
