Quality and environment
Dankalk’s goal is to integrate relevant management systems that raise quality, environmental and energy parameters in all of the company’s business decisions. So far, this has resulted in certification in the following systems:
ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
We continuously work to adapt production and service to our customers and stakeholders. In this work, we have implemented a quality management system that is certified to ISO 9001:2015. The system enables us to maintain and improve customer satisfaction. This is achieved through increased reliability of our systems and continuous quality control.
ISO 14001 (Environmental management)
Dankalk is certified in environmental management according to ISO 14001:2015. The certification demonstrates that we focus on how our processes and activities impact the environment. Environmental management work includes reducing or avoiding direct impacts on the local environment and reducing resource consumption through increased efficiency. Implementing environmental management is important, as businesses have the ability to greatly influence nature, the environment and climate. By incorporating procedures that optimize processes and protect the environment, we ensure constant and sustained action for the benefit of customers, stakeholders and the local environment.
ISO 50001 (Energy Management)
Energy management is not only a way to create savings for businesses, but also a way to ensure sustainable and lasting process optimizations. Dankalk is certified in Energy Management according to ISO 50001:2018, in order to meet the expectations of customers and partners regarding energy management. the green agenda. Specifically, we work to reduce energy consumption throughout the entire operation – machinery, factory and office buildings. In addition, we use the surplus heat from our drying plant to heat the town of Løgstør.
GMP+ B1 (Feed Safety Assurance)
At Dankalk, we take pride in the quality of our feed components. That’s why we have been certified within GMP+ B1. The many letters indicate that we have incorporated quality assurance into our production of feed components. We make sure to continuously assess risk factors and test our products so that our customers always have a positive experience when doing business with us. Product standards (Construction)
Lime products have many applications in construction and industry. We have product certificates for our products for Building Lime (hydrated lime) and Microfiller for concrete. Achieving the certifications requires both a factory review and approval and ongoing quality control of the product.
