Who owns Dankalk?
Dankalk is owned by DLG and Omya – two strong and experienced players with deep roots in agriculture and industrial use of lime, respectively.
Ownership is divided 56% to DLG and 44% to Omya through Dankalk K/S.
DLG – rooted in Danish agriculture
DLG (Danish Agricultural Products Company) is Denmark’s largest agricultural products company and a cooperative owned by Danish farmers. DLG has a nationwide network and plays a central role in the supply of feed, seeds, fertilizers, agricultural lime and plant protection products – as well as the marketing of agricultural crops.
DLG’s ownership ensures Dankalk a strong foothold in Danish agriculture, high market insight and close relationships with end users.
Omya – global specialist in calcium carbonate
Omya is a family-owned, international group and one of the world’s leading producers of calcium carbonate. The group supplies solutions to the plastics, rubber, paint and paper industries, among others, and is headquartered in Switzerland with operations in more than 50 countries.
With Omya as a co-owner, Dankalk gains access to international know-how, technical expertise and deep knowledge of industrial applications of lime.
