The lime plant in Aggersund is a central part of our history and the story of generations of hard work. The lime plant began as a privately owned plant and has developed over time in line with both changing ownership and market needs. Today, the lime plant is operated as part of Dankalk K/S, owned by DLG and Omya.
The location at the Limfjord is no coincidence. The lime from here is characterized by high purity and good reactivity. This makes Aggersund a natural hub for the production of lime for agriculture, industry and the environment.

Aggersund today functions as an essential hub for our production, drying and delivery. Close links between the limestone quarry, processing and storage provide high delivery reliability and flexibility according to customer needs.
